It's funny, I have talked to several people about this dvd in the past week because I was so astonished at the contents, and yet here I sit not sure what to say. Maybe that's it, that is the impact of this film and what it has meant to me. I have felt the need to share this with as many people who I know would actually listen. How can more people not know about this! How come I didn't know about this!?!
It has just baffled me that our government has not only let this happen but, through the courts, continues to enable and support this. What started off as a potentially good idea, feeding the world, has been infected by corporations and politics and is just plain ugly now.
The thought that follows me around now is that this is our FOOD supply that is being messed with. For as long as history has been recorded, the most basic way to win a siege and defeat an opponent in war has been to mess with their food supply. It always came down to that most basic need of food and water for survival. Will it be our own government that actually takes down the self-proclaimed almighty USA? It sure seems that way since they are messing with our FOOD!!!
