The class presentations were very informative. It felt as though everyone in the class really grasped the theory of the class, sustainability, and were able to incorporate ideas from all the information gained in their various different projects.
I really enjoyed Lee's project on alternative fuels. Some of those I had not heard about and would like to further my knowledge on them.
Marie's buying local presentation was fabulous and very informative. Buying local is something I try to strive to perform on my own and Marie was very helpful in identifying additional foods that could be purchased locally that I did not even think you could. And the food!!! Absolutely fabulous.
The presentation done on the parking in the school was very enlightening as I have personally been involved with the school administration regarding parking. However, I had focused on motorcycles since that was my largest concern. So it was very enlightening to hear about the difficulties non-motorcycle riding students must face. Made me think that I will continue to ride my motorcycle even if given an alternate form of transportation. It boggles my mind that the school administration would think that 2500 spots could possibly cover 8400 commuter parking permitted students. That is way more than an oversight!
Overall I thought that the presentations were very good!
